Rasmus Mackeprang
Lektor
Borupgaard Gymnasium Lautruphøj 9 2750 Ballerup

As a student Rasmus did work in the H1 experiment at DESY and the ALEPH experiment at CERN. He got his M.Sc. degree in 2003. In 2007 he obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen working in the ATLAS experiment at CERN. His research often tended to involve aspects of the strong interaction,  be it low-x physics at HERA or phenomenological studies of long-lived exotic particles carrying colour charge. During his time in research Rasmus did extensive outreach work and today he works as a high school teacher, although he retains close ties to the University of Copenhagen, where he serves as external examiner for thesis students. Rasmus has been Denmark’s representative to IPPOG since 2014 taking over from Rasmus Møller.
