For the first time ever, the International Particle Physics Outreach Group (IPPOG), in collaboration with Women in Technology (WIT), will host a masterclasses in particle physics dedicated to all those who, although working at CERN, do not have a scientific background.

This masterclass is an opportunity to discover, literally putting hands in particle physics, how data collection and, why not, particle discovery takes place.

IPPOG has been promoting the International Masterclasses Programme for over 10 years and every year reaches thousands of high school students from all over the world to encourage them to discover up close, just like a real scientist, what happens in the wonderful world of scientific research.

Non physicists are encouraged to apply.
